Jamie is a multidisciplinary artist and filmmaker who has exhibited her work in Europe, South America, Australia and the U.S. She holds a Sustainable Development MA from SIT, A Masters from The New School in Documentary Studies and has studied Climate Change in the Arctic context at the University of Oslo, in preparation for her last film project sailing on a Tall Ship in Arctic Svalbard.

Born in Brooklyn. HS grad ’64 (Massapequa, Long Island), drafted in military service 1966, Vietnam vet. Five college experiences from three weeks to one year. Six credits from Community College of Vermont 1997. Read a thousand books. Adult lifetime focus on co-operative economics, democracy, anarchism, labor history/issues/unions, baseball. Full time semi truck driver for food co-operatives 1979-1995. Over twenty years civic experience in Brattleboro, Vermont including elected positions of Selectboard, School Board and Town Meeting Rep. (22 yrs); Member Planning Commission (chair 1 1/2 yrs), member Development Review Board, 10 years, Finance Committee 5 yrs (chair 5 yrs), Charter Revision Commission and Chair 2008-2011. Current membership in Vermont Workers’ Center and Progressive Party (Co-ordinating Committee, Regional Representative).
